Yeah, caught it on their social media accounts already. They always post that for big hits. Knew it was coming.

Re: GameTime!™
20103Front office has done a good job with the part-time old guy pickups in recent seasons, with Jackson as this year's prominent name. Used to specialize in guys who had lost it, now they're being more selective.

20104Bauer looks crisp early.

Re: GameTime!™
20105With you there civ. Jackson though was considered damaged good, hence the cheap pickup. Boy, couple of those years with Detroit he was quite the stud.civ ollilavad wrote:Front office has done a good job with the part-time old guy pickups in recent seasons, with Jackson as this year's prominent name. 20106I was trying to recall the names of those retreads we used to go in for, I can think of Brady Anderson, someone Murphy, Jordan Michaels [first name sounds wrong], that awful 1b Casey Kotchman or something like that.
Re: GameTime!™
20107Nolan Arenado is really beginning to piss me off...
He snagged a couple liners last night, and just now snagged a hard line drive of EE with 2 on.

20108Atta boy, Bauer!
Worked out of a jam there. Struck Lucroy out to end the threat. He's 0-11 in season series now. - tee hee hee

Re: GameTime!™
20109So I return from a business absence to find Brandon Guyer pinch hitting with the bases loaded and the Indians still up by one. The only thing I can hope for is that he -- as usual -- is hit by a pitch.
Re: GameTime!™
20110But unfortunately he wasn't able to stick his elbow out far enough and he grounds out.
Seems like a long time since Allen pitched for a save. Here he comes.

Re: GameTime!™
20111Bauer has a 2.00 ERA and 28 K his last 4 starts. Really pitching well, especially at home.
Let's go Allen, nail this down! Fear the beard!

Re: GameTime!™
20112That would have been 8 days ago, when he allowed the memorable walk off 3 run homer.
Re: GameTime!™
20113And prior to that was 11 days ago when he held on to a 1-run lead with a 3up 3down 16 pitch inning.
Re: GameTime!™
20114Zimmer bobbles ball in CF allowing tying run to score and winning run to go to 2nd. Rough couple days for Zim Shady.
Re: GameTime!™
20115and he just blew this one on a Lucroy one-out run scoring double. So go ahead run is on with 2 outs to go.
