Well, Tito insists on playing Guyer and batting him lead off despite the fact he is hitting .178 and getting on base at a .258 clip. Prototypical lead off guy right there. Genius. Almonte has been more effective, even with little playing time due to injury.

And we have a guy hitting .339 at 3rd base in Columbus. The second Kipnis got injured they should have recalled Yandy.

One of the best hitters in baseball continues to bat 5th every night. No excuse for not hitting Jose 2nd or 3rd.

There are things to try. They act like they don't care if they score or not.

Shaw does Shaw things. He's just not pitching well enough right now to overcome errors. Santana letting that ball get through his legs proves costly. Two games in a row an error hurts us.

And as Manning said, the Indians not being smart enough to pitch around Posey cost us two games in a row too.
