Yes, but what the talking heads don't mention is the Indians would have to go 15-23 away to match their road record from last year.

41 -39 last year, 2 games over .500.

26-16 this year, 10 games over.

Like I said, I have no answers. This team is just upside down.

Last night Andre Knott reported he had talked to Frankie and he said they were pressing too much at home. So they are trying to lighten up and have fun, do things they have done in past to have fun.

Worked last night. We can hope.

My Dr. friend reported:

"Like I expected. He has paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. This means his heart now bumps along irregularly. There is no high gear because the heart does not fill in synchrony. Much like a poorly tuned car. The car can go 30 miles an hour but not 50. The normal pacer in the heart is being overridden by another electrical pulse which is going faster. This electrical pulse is usually in the pulmonary vein and right atrium. They are able to fry this area with cautery so no more electrical pulse can leave this area. Hopefully his normal pacer in SA node will take over and he goes back into normal rhythm. This procedure is now first line for atrial fibrillation."

Now you're ready for your medical boards.

Whereas catheter ablation which is usually radio frequency but can be cry or other forms is first line for rhythms such as AVNRT or AVRT for afib it still is not. The long term success which usually suggests 2 attempts is about 70-80 %. For patients with a ChadsVASC score of 2 or greater anticoagulation is indicated such as Warfarin or more recently such drugs as the NOACs like apixaban.
