Guys .. Jose Ramirez is 6th in MLB in batting average. 18th in OBP. And 6th in SLG. ... Yet he has hit 5th in the lineup in the vast majority of the games.
Is there another player in all of baseball who is one of the top hitters in the league and isn't batting in the top 3 or 4 in the batting order?
There are things they could and should be trying to try to help dig the offense out of this funk.
I love Kipnis, you love Kipnis, we all love Kipnis. But due to his shoulder or neck or whatever he is just not himself. I can't remember the last time he hit a ball hard. It's a weak grounder or pop up all the time.
Jose should be batting in the top 3.
Kip should be 9th, or resting on the DL till he gets himself right. Hell, Gonzalez has played very well this year. We'd be better off with him in there than Kip right now.
