Not this time though...
Still losing 2-1, going to 6th.

19682Twins throw the ball away on a potential inning ending DP and allows Gomes to score tying run from 3rd!
I don't think they had a shot at doubling up Lindor. Never should have thrown the ball. I'll take it.

19685Cody Allen comes in to reliever Kluber in the 8th. Makes the decision to throw Dozier a high fastball. In one swing we are losing 3-2.
I would fine pitchers who throw him a high fastball.

19692Sorta the story of the whole season so far - the motivation comes and goes, ultimately resulting in the .500 neighborhood.gaylord perry wrote:They need some spark! Just going through the motions!
That said, last season the depth of the rotation often was enough to put a stop to the losing.
Last night, wasting that great Kluber outing, really hurt.

Re: GameTime!™
19694We choked on a golden opportunity to open up the lead I've been waiting for all year. I was really hoping to extend our lead to 5 games heading into the all star break. It was right at our finger tips and we couldn't get it done. This weekend could turn out to be the turning point in the season. Getting swept by the Twins at home is a bitter pill to swallow. I understand we're only a half game out right now, but this is not the same team we grew to love in 2016.

19695Another multiple hit game, another double. Jose Ramirez continues to be the rock of this team just as he was in 2016. To bad no one is stepping up to help out. Hurry back Michael!
