Re: GameTime!™
19232I don't know if you caught that double play or not. Santana makes the diving catch. Throws to Lindor at second. Instead of stepping on the bag, flips to Kipnis for a 9-6-4 dp. I wonder if Lindor is going to hear something from Francona for hot dogging it.

19234Don't assume fat pitches down the middle are the only ones that get hit. Every Major League player can hit those.
Every player has a spot they hit better than others. Gomes loves the low inside stuff. Brian Giles could hit balls up in his eyes.
When you throw them where they like them, they get hit.

19237Hit and run! Drag squeeze bunt! Doesn't get better than that.

19239Well! We've been outfoxed and outplayed tonight. If we lose it, we deserve it.

19240JOE: It sounds like you are rooting against the Indians, just b/c you don't like the way they play!
Re: GameTime!™
19241I am not a Tomlin fan, but tonight, he was dominant. That's exactly the way I like to see a game pitched. He averaged 10 pitches an inning. It just doesn't get any better than that. Too bad the hitting sucks. Tomlin deserved a better fate. You just can't waste pitching efforts like this one.

19243Gotta love that story line: Encarnacion slowly heating it up. Yeah! Very slowly. He's picked up the hat trick tonight. Odds on a golden sombrero

Re: GameTime!™
19245That one was a tough pill for Tomlin to swallow. Best pitched game of the year and he comes out a loser.
