JR! Were we watching the same game? That was one of the most dominant games I've seen pitched against this team in a long time. You just don't get any better than that.

The two most dependable hitters we have right now are Michael Brantley and Jose Ramirez. You are not going to win these close ball games with two hitters in the lineup.

This is going to be a long season if we don't start hitting left handed pitching. I thought we had this thing all figured out during spring training.

Oh! Not true! I'm giving all the credit to the pitchers. The articles I posted above explain exactly what is going on with pitchers and how they control the strike zone. Not just the left handed pitchers but also the right handed pitchers. It's up to the hitters to solve the problems.

Its just softer tossing lefties IMHO, we do pretty good vs Sale and other hard throwing ones. Bring Merritt up with extra duty pay (not a roster change) and let him pitch serious batting practice so we can learn how to hit the junk on the outside corner.

I think our pitchers should get with the program and stop throwing the ball over the plate so often. Follow the pitch cast and see how many strikes are called against us that are out of the strike zone.

Well! It wasn't pretty but when you win a baseball game against one of the league's best teams with your #5 starter, you gotta like that.

Impressive hitting tonight. I think I counted 9 opposite field hits. Even EE got one.

I don't know if you heard the Indians telecast, but Underwood was saying that the Astros are very good at NOT chasing pitches out of the strike zone.
