Is Martinez really the best we can do?

Sloppy game by the tribe. Let's hope nobody gets hurt and we come home healthy.

Martinez drops a force out at first on a bunt attempt to Santana. Then gets caught napping on a delayed still. Perfect throw by Perez. Right on the bag. Martinez late in covering. Frazier called out because the ball was there in plenty of time but Martinez was very late in covering. The call was over turned. Frazier was ruled safe. Fanned twice in two trips. If Martinez is not optioned out after today's efforts, I'd be shocked.

I hope we learned some lessons from Holland on Sunday because this may get tougher:
Houston 13-6 vs Cleveland (10-8)
Keuchel (L) 3-0 ( 0.96 ERA ) vs Tomlin (R) 1-2 ( 11.68 ERA )
BUT !!
It looks like we match up really well against him:

I know how we can shorten our ball games. Forfeit all games against all southpaw starters.

I just wish that opposing pitchers would give our team 1/2 the pitches out over the plate that we serve up to the opposition.

Sports Time Ohio never shows the pitch cast. WGN and CSN give the front view and top view of every pitch. Sport Time Ohio should get with the program.

On average, I would guess that Indian pitchers throw more strikes over the plate, at least 25% of the time, more than the opposition. We hardly ever get good pitches to hit. It's too bad that you can't see where the pitches are pitched. Extremely informative.
