Re: GameTime!™
18394I tell ya, Yandy is hitting the ball hard. He hit that line drive single so hard Chiz never had a prayer of scoring from 2nd. Wish he had a blooper in the bat that time. 2-2 with a walk tonight. Eddy has 2 walks. Hopefully those two are breaking out of their slump. Both are much more calm and patient at plate tonight for sure. Don't think they are pressing so much now.
Re: GameTime!™
18398When you analyze this game, we should be tied or ahead. If Yandy Diaz holds on to that double play attempt from Chisenhall, we save a pair of runs. It's a 5-3 ball game. If Yandy Diaz's shot to right field were anything other than bullet, we add a run. 5-4. If Abreu wasn't playing so far off the bag that last inning, Ramirez scores. It's a 5-5 game. Enter Miller and Allen and we have a chance to win it. If there are any positives that will come out of this game, the hits are starting to fall. Just in time for the Detroit series. And we just caught a break here in the top of the 8th. Brantley get the force at third for the second out.

18399And another one hit hard af....right at abreu. Not only are we going for the record of stranding runners in scoring position, but there has to be some kind of record of balls hit right to fielders we're on track for taking too.
Below .500 and playing for shit is not the way to head into the series against Detroit.

Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet.

18400That hit just took the air out of the bubble. Thought we had a chance in the 8th and 9th.
