18182Jordan Bastian @MLBastian
Kluber said a "a callus ripped a little bit" on a finger. Wouldn't say which one, but noted that he couldn't "spin it" as well as usual.
.
Francona also said Kluber developed blisters tonight due to humidity.
So keep in mind. Just before being taken out Kluber retired 10 straight batters from a very good lineup while battling blisters and a torn callus..
I just love that guy. True pro.
I wish some of his guts and grit would rub off on a couple of our other starters. They get an ache or pain and they get shelled just before going on DL for a couple weeks.

18183I thought it was his fingernail he kept chewing on. It appeared to be the middle finger on the pitching hand.

Re: GameTime!™
18184Hitting throughout the lineup, late inning rally, nearly perfect relief pitching. Where have I seen that plan before?
Re: GameTime!™
18185Does anyone else think that Lindor did not play with the same excitement that he always plays with? Could it be a snag in the contract talks?

Re: GameTime!™
18186UD- He definitely does not smile as much. Hopefully whatever is bothering him is resolved we need that Ipana smile back.
Re: GameTime!™
18187He was smiling like crazy doing the WBC. I think it is contract stuff on his mind.loufla wrote:UD- He definitely does not smile as much. Hopefully whatever is bothering him is resolved we need that Ipana smile back.

Re: GameTime!™
18188I don't think that. They showed a dugout shot of him, Ramirez and someone else and he was having a blast.Uncle Dennis wrote:Does anyone else think that Lindor did not play with the same excitement that he always plays with? Could it be a snag in the contract talks?

18189Santana takes the 4th pitch deep.
Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everyone you meet.
Re: GameTime!™
18190Is that really what instant replay is for? Lindor didn't have contact on the base for a microsecond, and is called out!
Re: GameTime!™
18191Guyer with a hell of a diving, tumbling catch in RF to keep the perfect game alive.

Re: GameTime!™
18192I gave them the kiss of life last night by giving up in the 7th inning.
Not sure how long I will last tonight.

18193Totally agree. Umps should set a precedent and not over-rule that kind of crap.J.R. wrote:Is that really what instant replay is for? Lindor didn't have contact on the base for a microsecond, and is called out!
And when they showed the played from a different angle it didn't even look like the glove was on Lindor's leg at that fraction of a second he was off bag.
i hated that call all the way around.
