It's not anything to be embarrassed about JR. We were undermanned from the start of the playoff. Simply put, the Cubs have a powerhouse lineup. It's not the Cub player's fault that the house is full of Cub fans. We accepted all challenges and met them head on. We just came up 1 game short. But! I won't quit until the last out has been made. It wouldn't be fair to the team. They haven't given up, why should we???

Looking ahead to next year, no matter the outcome of tonight's game, we have a lot of work to do with this outfield. We missed Brantley's bat in this series. The outfield can use some upgrades. Yandy Diaz can help. Next year, hopefully, we won't find ourselves in this starting rotation quandary. We'll be back if we can solidify our bench and pick up a couple of major league outfielders.

It all came down to game 4 JR. We had two opportunities to tie that game and one huge opportunity to take the lead but we couldn't come through in the clutch.
