Guirriel is living up to the hype so far. His defense has been as good as I thought it would be. I was hoping he would get off to a good start offensively. Look like he's on track. Guirriel is a very good ball player. I have high regard for Lourdes also. I thought they would both look good in Cleveland as I did for several other of those Cuban ball players.

Davis just saved Shaw a double. Most def gonna be on the highlight reel. Right after Lindor's grab of a line drive while on the run towards 2nd base. Tribe flashing some good D tonight.

Ramirez with a highlight gem also. I don't hnow how that runner was out at second but he never complained and headed straight back to the dugout. I thought the runner was safe. Helluva play. Infield has been rock solid.

Our old friend Victor Martinez homered in the 8th to give the Tigers a big win over Baltimore. That win pulled the Tigers even with Baltimore for the 2nd wild card spot.

Salazar was pulled as a precaution after four innings and 76 pitches due to tightness in his right forearm, but a four-run second inning, an impressive home run by Mike Napoli and solid bullpen work helped Cleveland pick up the win. That allowed the first-place Indians to maintain their six-game lead over Detroit in the division standings.

No biggie, J.R. Just wondered if you had later info than I did. Scared me for a sec.

Of course there is a huge % chance that I am completely full of crap on this, but starting to get a gut feeling that Salazar is a big girly boy and not wanting to fight through normal aches and pains that pitchers have. Like he's afraid he's going to tear something again and screw himself out of a big contract later or something.

Tito or Callaway hinted that Salazar was being too cautious the last time Salazar asked out with soreness. And here we have it again.
