Civ - to add on to what we discussed in the other folder (Tribe offseason pickups) - in this game we are watching Rajai just stole 3rd, for the second time!

OK, that is 20 freaking steals this year. And we are not halfway through by a long shot.

Add in his athleticism in the outfield, a RH bat, and we haven't had this kind of guy on the team in recent memory.

Huge day for Rajai, Uribe homers. Ramirez with the big hit.

As HB said, this offense seems to have weird crazy chemistry that somehow is working. Different guys getting it done.

Michael Brantwho? And that's the luxury, no need to rush Brantley. When he's healthy, send him out on a good lengthy rehab to get his stroke back BEFORE he hits the lineup.

Of course the constant is that rotation. Without Carrasco, none of it would have mattered.

Best rotation, 1-5, in the AL. No weak link.

Yes, and it appears they hit the right buttons with Rajai and Napoli at least.

Announcers went on about Uribe's influence on Jose Ramirez. Who knows, but just sayin

And that Bauer move a couple years ago...and the long term deals for top starting pitchers....

Oh, and that Naquin kid.....??

I wish we had won one of those games vs the Royals, you know which one, and we'd be up 2 1/2. It should stay interesting. I think Carrasco will be back to his full excellence soon and that will make quite a rotation. As for offense, it's not like they're overachieving, other than I guess Ramirez, so no reason to expect they cannot do as much the second half as they have in the first half. I guess Napoli is famous for big slumps, so he could disappear.

But then again, Cleveland is a City of Champions, so no reason not to expect everything to work for the Indians.

My wife being a Tigers fan I am very familier with Davis and I didn't have a problem signing him, but I never expected this good.

I still absoluely hate the Napoli and Uribe signings. My Hillbilly Kiss Of Life still looks to be alive and well so as long as they do something good after my complaining I will keep complaining.

I'd bring Urshela or Yandy up to play 3rd base now. Uribe can do his mentoring from the end of the bench.

It's easy to pop in and applaud the Napoli signing when he is in a decent stretch, but it's awfully quiet around here when he is 0 for 18 with 11 K stretch.

He's not the 8th place hitter. He is clean up. And when he is in his bad stretches he just kills the offense. I just hate the Dave Kingman boom or bust streaky types batting in the middle of the order. Too many nights over the course of the season they kill the offense.

HB - Agree but then again that's not his fault??

So when I say I agree, I agree that we'd surely like a cleanup hitter.

Assuming that doesn't happen, to me Lindor 3rd, Brantley 4th and Napoli 5th would work for me.
