@IndiansAccounts:
SP's @BauerOutage, @CKluber and Carlos Carrasco w/ back-to-back-to-back complete games. Last time it happened for the #Indians was 1994.

.

Jack Morris and Charles Nagy was two of the three then. I forget the third guy they said.

The one fun thing about this team is that any of their starting pitchers can put together a game like this at any time.

I was watching MLB Network and the Indians had the #2 starting pitching staff when using FIP. (Fielding Independent Pitching)

We do tend to forget those poor guys have pitched with pretty piss poor defense behind them most of the year.

I took at the box score for last night's game and wondered how that lineup could possibly score any more than the 4 runs they managed. I like Urshela and Lindor but neither is a polished hitter. Jose Ramirez certainly isnt' either. Then there are guys like Holt and Sands and Chisenhall hanging around the OF. Ugh. Ugh.

The whole team stinks with the bases juiced!

Seems to me Lindor and Ureshela are each hitting about 40 points better than when Chiz and JRod covered the left side, and playing a better defense as well.

I think they are permanently entrenched there.

Lindor is the real deal, most likely. Urshela...nice replacement guy but remains to be seen if he is the solution long term due to his hitting.

Definitely a place where we could upgrade offensively, and Urshela would be a nice bench guy.

on the bench Urshela's value might not be much, since he only plays one position. I think he could find a job as a regular somewhere, although may well not be a star. Depends on what a team needs at third to fit into the rest of their talent. e.g., if Zimmer and Frazier can actually make it as major leaguers, we might want to retain a RH bat, star defender at 3rd with enough offense coming from Kipnis, Brantley, Gomes and the outfielders. We'll see what develops.
