Indians finally addressed two positions that have plagued the offense for two months.
Chisenhall can't field either. Urshela will make a big difference on defense. Offense, maybe. He hit real well in 2014, is clearly not "ready" this season offensively. But I view the move at 3rd base as having two motives:

1. shore up the weakest defensive link
2. reward Chisenhall for his continue lack of development.

Wonder if Lonnie got the word before yesterday's game and proceded to make a pair of errors? I don't like his approach to the game and hope for lots of reasons that Urshela proves he's ready to take over. Then Lonnie can be swapped for some bullpen depth.

Hmm, am I buying this?

Francisco Lindor - SS - Indians

Indians GM Chris Antonetti said Monday that Francisco Lindor has been considered for a promotion but is dealing with minor hand and core injuries.

Which could suggest that the 21-year-old shortstop prospect will be brought up as soon as he gets back to 100 percent health.

Cleveland demoted Jose Ramirez to the minors on Sunday evening and will roll with Mike Aviles as the primary shortstop for now. Lindor is a .277/.353/.383 career hitter in the minors, but he's terrific defensively.

Only other move that makes sense is bring up Walters, but Lindor is hitting better than him in AAA. And defensively he's far better.

Heck, booting ONE double play ball would be an improvement.

Pretty low bar after Chiz. He'll be fine.

One other advantage, he can be sure to see plenty of lefty opposing pitchers.
