The fifth spot in the Indians rotation has been a popped blister for the Indians this season. Maybe Shaun Marcum can serve as a Band-Aid.

Marcum pitched 5 1/3 innings Saturday night as the Indians beat the Mariners, 4-3, at Safeco Field. It was just the second victory turned in by an Indians fifth starter this season and they both belong to Marcum.

Well, Marcum has started 3 times, and they've won twice. Gotta love that for a 5th starter.

That's the only stat I care about.

Behind the visitor dugout was the place to be last night, J.R. One of the Indians fans staying in my hotel got in a fight.

A Mariners fan in our section kept heckling Aviles. This Indian fan, who I had chatted quite a bit with last couple days, a real nice guy from Utah, told him about his daughter and to have some class. The more beer served the more it got out of hand. At end of game they got into it. The Tribe fan threw him around a little bit. Ripped his shirt off of him. Thankfully it didn't get any more out of hand.

Seattle is a very nice town. Super nice people. Just didn't expect that.

MAZING how INefficient the Tribe has been today. Finally took the lead here in the 12th!
I was getting darn sick of watching them strand guys at 3rd. Especially with less than 2 outs!

BTW, Brantley is either on a cold streak, or is hurting. Not the same guy right now.
