I'm not a beer connoisseur, but they have a number of "craft beers" in the new Corner bar. And I didn't buy any food there, but I have eaten at Melt in Cleveland Hts, which has a place there now, and it's very good. A lot of the changes were made for the 20 somethings, who like to walk around, drink, and maybe watch some of the game. The drink rails are OK, but I don't like to stand too long. It was neat to go into the former visitor's bullpen, though I don't think I'll do it again. The view isn't all that great. They've replaced a lot of empty seats in the upper right field deck with graphics (I posted a pic on Opening Day) so maybe that's better to look at. But I prefer to watch the game live on the field.

J.R.

Are you still packing a lunch to games?

Next time I see you in Goodyear or Cleveland I'm gonna buy you a hot dog.

;)
Thanks!
Actually, I ate in the food court at Tower City.

J.R.:

I dunno if you remember but years ago at one of our early forum reunions you had packed a PB & J sammich to eat at the game. I dunno why but that tickled me. Just thought maybe you were still doing that!

You go to a lot more games than I do though. When I lived in Ohio I only made it up to a couple weekend games a year. Now I'm lucky if I can get to one major league game a summer. So when I go to games I always look forward to having a ballpark dog and some ballpark food.

It's always neat to see the differing foods in the different ballparks. I'm making my first trip to Safeco Field this year. Locals here tell me that the food there is a lot better than any other ballpark they've been too. Looking forward to being the judge of that. ;)
