Top of the 13th.....
Santana gets a 2 out walk....lets see if something happens.
9 LOB tonight....
Klubers gotta be pissed.
Was a really good challenge in the 11th......Perez made an awesome throw for a bang bang play at 1st....initially called safe...but was overturned.
Well on to the bottom of the 13th.

14132Top of 14. It's been a long week. I'd like to turn in early tonight. Let's go guys. Somebody park one.
Re: GameTime!™
14133Yup this game is getting long in the tooth and I'm getting short on beer.

14134Axford gave it up in the bottom of the 14th.
Damn.

14136Sometimes I wish it was legal to hang a player up like a piñata and beat the stuff out of him with a bat.
Well, not sometimes. Usually just after an Axford outing.

Re: GameTime!™
14137I continue not to understand why Francona will not put Carrasco into an extra inning game until every other member of the bullpen has been used up.
Re: GameTime!™
14138was Raburn's "throw" the worst defensive play you've ever seen by a major leaguer?
Re: GameTime!™
14139There could not possibly have ever been a worse defensive play, whether you are talking about the majors or any other level.
Some of those hitters looked like they had never seen a curve before, missing by a foot! A very disgusting game to watch!

Re: GameTime!™
14142I don't know why Rayburn is getting "burned" so badly. He made a great effort. If Rayburn doesn't dive its at least a double if not a triple anyway.
If the fielders were in their proper positions, Rayburn would not have had to hold on to the ball for so long. He was already commited to launching the ball. When he didn't see his infielders in the proper alignment, he held on to the ball too long.
Besides, the game was lost on offense not on one errant throw. I think Brantley (0-6) should get as much blame as Rayburn. So should Swisher, Chisenhall, and Gomes who fanned 2, 3, and 4 times respectively. There was a lot of blame to go around.

14144Another comedy of errors scores another ITP HR. Kipnis relay throw from RF to 3B went into the photo booth allowing Ibnez or whoever the hell it was to score.
