The fans are into it, JOE, but the Tribe hasn't responded.
Whew! CP left em loaded. BUT we still need to score! This is a great opportunity to put some distance between us and the O's and Skankees.
Re: GameTime!™
12393Brantley walks, but is caught stealing! Of course, the next batter Aviles walks. Can anybody come through in the clutch for this team?
Re: GameTime!™
12394Giambi almost did! Ball hit to the RF the corner, just foul. Would have scored the winning run. But instead, he pops out to end the inning
Re: GameTime!™
12395Leadoff double for Houston. This game is putting me in a really bad mood!
Wait, we just picked off the pinch-runner from 2nd.
I feel slightly better now. But still...

Re: GameTime!™
12396Indians still can't score. C'mon, we're playing a team that has already lost 101 games!
Re: GameTime!™
12397That's what happens when you play down to the competition JR. I can't believe we're still playing. I went to clean the toilets, came back figuring to see us in the win column only to see us still playing. The odds are in our favor. We're back to 6 out vs 3 outs.

Re: GameTime!™
12402I can't begin to say how important this win was. Hopefully enough momentum here to carry us through the rest of this series.

12403No! It really should have not been JR!

12404Everytime the opposition fails to score in a tie ballgame top of the 9th inning on, you know the home team is guaranteed 6 outs to 3. That's why they call it the home field advantage. It took every last one of those outs tonight.

Re: GameTime!™
12405Francona was wheelin' and dealin' again tonight. You can tell how comfortable and confident he is getting with ALL of his players. He uses them in any and all situations.
That's a nice comfort zone for the players riding it out on the bench to be in also. Their heads have to be in the game at all times because anyobne can get the call at any time. Better know the situation, never know when it will be your turn to contribute.
This really is a nice situation. The Indians are playing together as a team. They'll have to rise or fall together.
