Well, it's obvious that the Tigers have one of the best pitching staff in the league. We played them tough enough. We just hit a rather large bump in the road.

We still have an outside shot at Detroit and we definitely have the extra wild card spot open for the taking.

Reynolds surely turned his season around in a terrible way. I thought that his great start was too good to be true.

I'm curious as to why Francona moved Cabrera into the cleanup spot in the batting order. I know Francona like to play the hunches, but I'd stick this one in the garbage can and just plain forget about it.

That blown save by Perez sure set the tone for this series.

Time to man up!

School of hard knocks! The results from this series were disheartening but a break here or there and this entire series could have been reversed. I'm still optimistic that this team will make post season. I just hope that the pitching staff can stay consistent and they have been to date even through this series. If there was any light at the end of this tunnel, it's been the pitching staff. They have done an admirable job so far this season. They have performed far above expectations.

Final word - Can't say the Tigers blew us out in this series. We were more than up to the task. In the end, the best pitching staff came out on top.

It's just unwatchable.

I feel sorry for them, playing the role of Detroit's "bitch" this year.

But I do love this team, and they've shown lots of spunk in general all year long.

WoW! I thought this was a three game series. Now I wish it were.

I'm really disappointed with Carlos Santana this year. I really thought this would be his breakout year. I thought he always had the excuse that he had no protection in the lineup. I guess I can't feel that way this year. Carlos has shown no improvement of the past few years. It's hard to believe he's maxed out. That leg kick has got to go!

I guess its time to see what kind of brass these guys have left in them the rest of the way. This series has to be demoralizing. I wonder what kind of advice Giambi will have for Francona and the rest of the team after this series.
