From Cuba?
Whatever it takes I guess. There's a rather large market out there that we seem to have no interest in. It's hard to overlook the fact that players like Cespedes, Puig, Chapman, and others have been game changers with their respective ballclubs. I'd just like a piece of the action.

Babe Ruth-ish would be nice, but I'm thinking someone along the lines of a Dustin Pedroia. :P

No substitute for team speed and team defense when it comes to the playoffs.

Are there unlimited rosters for the playoffs? What's the average number of players a team brings to the playoffs?

I missed the last three innings. The televised game on MLB.TV was blacked out here and the gamecast coverage was all screwed up. Missed it all.

Do you have a play by play of the rally JR?

The game still shows bottom of the 8th, runners on second and third, two out, and Rayburn at the plate with a 1-1 count. Been that way for quite some time now.

Gomes, Aviles, and Rayburn have come through time and time again. Even Giambi has contributed more than I hoped for. At the beginning of the season, I posted that this appeared to be our strongest bench in decades. I guess I wasn't wrong.

I have a good feeling that the rest of this season is going to be a lot of fun.
