Yeah I finally heard that. Stubbs just got a double, two at bats too late. Wish he woulda done that the two time he was up with runners at the corners.....I think we'll get to phelps this inning....maybe....crap had runners at 2nd and third but Kipnis struck out.

On to the 8th.

Masterson one out away from a CG 3 hit shutout.

Shit, Cabrerra went the wrong way on a grounder to short, now it's a 4 hit shutout...almost.

Strike out Game over we win......20 minutes till the next game.

Nice crowd. Nice win. I'm thinking Bauer has a good game. All I'm hoping for is 5, maybe 6, quality innings. Just keep us in the game through 5. The offense should take care of the rest. I'm pretty confident that we sweep today.

The secret to Bauer's success today, in my opinion, will be determined on whether or not he can show some control and limit the walks.

GAme 2 Starter for NY is Vidal Nuno, who was signed by the Indians and pitched in our farm system but not beyond Lake County. Tribe released him after 2010, Yankees picked him up, and developed him into a major leaguers. Has not had an ERA above 3 since he left the Cleveland system.
