I got home in time to watch this game. The fact of the matter wasn't Myers being pulled against any certain batter. He had the right stuff, just poor pitch selection.

Whether called from the bench, the catcher, or the pitcher, Myers threw too many pitches in the same zone, same speed. Konerko and De Aza got into a groove and ended up sending balls out of the park.

Change the location of the pitches, change the types of pitch when the batters get into a groove. Relief pitchers are guilty more often than not. Even if these guys have only one or two pitches, change the locations don't keep throwing in the same spot on each and every pitch.
