From Goat to Hero. I guess this is what we get with Reynolds. Had to get chores done. Missed the best parts of the game. What a great job by the pitching staff. This game should not have been as close as it was. This one was one that should have been in the bag early in the game. Very nice start to the season against a very tough Blue Jays team.

I see we won!

I tuned in with the score 2-2 in the 10th when my wife realized she was out of milk for her coffee and cereal in the morning.

I dashed to my truck and raced to our closest 7-11 to buy a half gallon of milk from an Indian, an Indian not of the Cleveland Baseball variety.

If I have to do same again in the future to assure another Tribe win one day, I will.

Superstitions, and Baseball.

To coin a phrase.......this appears to be a "gritty" team. It's early, but I like what I've seen in these two games. They look very blue collar like.

Last night I think I heard the Toronto announcers say Brantley had just dipped to below .600 for his BA against the Blue Jays in his career. Not sure if that was just in Toronto, or inclusive.

Of course, I might have heard it wrong. I'm approaching hearing aid time.....

You heard correctly TF. But the numbers were for the Roger's Center.

If Brantley hits that well on the North shore of Lake Ontario, he should be able to produce similar on the South shore of Lake Erie this season.

Of course there might be a roof bias in his stats in Canada.

Noting the creators of "South Park," no way will Brantley 'blame Canada' for dragging down his stats....

My wife and I had a great night with TFISC/CALI and his wife last night. He introduced us to a sports bar that recreated Fenway Park and has some tasty smoked wings, got home in time to see the Tribe victory, Boy having some right handed power sure paid off. I think if we had had some last year we could have parlayed our strong start into the playoffs.

Myers vs Beuhrle tonight. We go for our first sweep of the year. Hope JR has his brooms dusted off.
