Sipp concerns me since we remember what a really atrocious slump he got into last year for several weeks. He's now allowed a 3-run homer one time out; and the next loaded the bases without retiring a hitter (after getting out of the prior inning OK). Same manager and same pitching coach as last year, so they know to be cautious with him. He's been extremely valuable in the early going; we need him to get back in gear quickly this time.

Carlos Carrasco (elbow) was unable to throw a scheduled bullpen session on Wednesday.
Carrasco underwent an MRI on Tuesday that came back negative and told reporters Wednesday afternoon that his elbow is feeling much better. But the Indians are going to give the 24-year-old a couple of days off to be safe. A spot starter will take the mound on Saturday in Carrasco's place.

Carrasco has been placed on the DL.

It seems to be well worth the season charge of $14.99....at least in the first couple innings of viewing. Of course it's necessary to be an mlb.tv subscriber in order get this for the extra $14.99
I had the At Bat program on my BlackBerry 3 seasons ago and then got an iPhone last May and have had the At Bat last season and this season as well. This version is the best to date.

I use the At Bat all the time like when there are day games and i am out fixing ATM's, or evenings when i am out grocery shopping or just out for a walk. It's almost like an addiction.

We got Fausto fat Carmona pitching tonight. The Yankees have Bartolo Fat Colon and CC Fat Sabathia pitching for them. I imagine that Carmona will eventually pitch for the Yankees. It seems like we develop these fat pitchers with interesting names and then they pitch for the Yankees.
