8192Yeah Rusty, but he is not Pedroia (ducking!)rusty2 wrote:For those that are worried about the drafting of Mr Grant recently you need to look no further then Mr Kipnis. 15 stolen bases and how many home runs ? All Star 2nd baseman.

Re: GameTime!™
8193RUSTY- I agree with you about Kipnis but with Kinsler votes and Cano, the media fave, he would have to be superhuman to get there. Pedroia has that problem also.
Re: GameTime!™
8194All Star or not, he's quite an offensive star. Leading the league in steals, I was surprised to see in my morning paper. St. Louis voters will go for Kipnis after this weekend.
Re: GameTime!™
8196Pedroia starts with PED.
I really don't care whether he makes the all star team or not.
Bottom line he deserves it which is what should really matter to Indians fans.

8197In Oregon at present:
Tom Hamilton's kid is up for Kent State in the bottom of the 9th with the tying score on 2nd.
Hamilton represents a ticket to Omaha and The College World Series if scores as well.
And he K's on a tough call that he did not get a piece of the ball on his 3rd strike swing. Replays were inconclusive, but it looked liked he might have. Umps all got together to see what they each saw, and the K call held up so due diligence was done.

8198Oregon wins 3-2, and Kent State will have an opportunity to get to Omaha with a win tomorrow.
(If Oregon goes to the College World Series, and John Coltrane is not around to hear it, does it really count?)
Steve Goldstein is going to Omaha for The College World Series. Well, at least the Steve Goldstein who plays for SUNY Stony Brook.
