Tonight's four schedule starters:

Seddon in Columbus.
TBD for the Aeros
TJ House for Kinston, oops, make that Carolina
Joe Colon for Lake County

Not much impressive there. Perhaps House can get his career back on track? He sure has stalled while in the Carolina League.

For Aeros looking at their roster, they have about 8 relievers and 3 or 4 starters. I think Tony suggested that Eric Berger might be back in the rotation. And 20 year old Giovanni Soto is still a starter. I see Paolo Espino is now on the DL, so that's why he left the opener after 2 innings. I don't see any other names on the roster who have started a game in years. We probably some guys in extended ST who can fill out the Akron rotation, or we can make an earlier dip than usual into the Independent Leagues, or perhaps bring back Dan Denham or JD Dittler.

Chris Seddon not surprisingly has been rocked for 2 homers and 3 runs in 4 innings. But the rest of our teams are leading on scoreless pitching and some hitting. Soto 3 innings, 5 K in AA debut at age 20. House 2 innings for Carolina. Joe Colon 3 for LC. LRod with a single and triple and 3 bi for the Captains. Tim Fedroff stays at 500 with 2 Aero hits. Tyler Holt singles and triples is at 600. Nick Weglarz K pct drops from .700 to .583 but remains hitless for 12. LWash with a single and two walks at the top of the Captains' order, that's 5 walks in his 4th game. Lindor a single is over .300.

Soto was my breakout pitcher last year. This year it came down to Toru Murata and Danny Salazar. I chose Salazar. My breakout position player, Andrew Campbell, is MIA.

Civ,

Do you think Aguilar can handle double "A" ball? First homer tonight and he's batting over .400 for the mudcats. It's early, but I saw him play a lot of games when he was in Venezuela this winter and he was not intimidated by the large crowds or the pitching.
