Tribe has a very nice, young, profitable 80 - 85 win club in place for at least the next two years. Now I'd like to see'em get a player or two to take us over the top....
By the time that happens Frank, it will be time to start all over again. That's the way it is. I've seen it over and over the past 10 years.

So far the front office is pitching a shutout this winter. It doesn't look good for any impact players being added any time soon.

Yes Civ! Hopefully, Lowe has enough left in the tank to get through one more season. I just don't consider Lowe to be an impact player. I'm going to just hope he can be a decent pitcher. I still would have preferred Jeremy Guthrie but I don't know what his situation is these days.

I do, however, like the Slowey addition. I wouldn't be surprised if Slowey beats out Lowe this spring. That is to say if they consider Slowey to be a serious contender for a spot in the rotation.

Slowey was awful last season. Twins are usually pretty good judges of talent and they gave up on him. He and Lowe were a combined 9-25 last season which is pretty darned impressive.

As for offseason moves, I suppose adding Aaron Cunningham was a good idea, I never had heard of him before, but he appears to be a RH OF with a bit of talent.

I am sure the tribe has sold a lot of tickets with these exciting off season moves. I f I were Dolan I would save money and just fire the front office. I dont know what vacancy rates are in Cleveland probably pretty high but maybe gilbert could put a branch of his casino in the space occupied by the tribe executive offices. Maybe dolan has some high school kid relative who he could put in charge of the tribe. You could give him a list of players that make minimum salary and tell him to sign one or two of them because you got to spend when the time is right. Dont know how dolan is going to expense his own salary in this situation but he will think of something. He is a brilliant owner. It is all a win win and this is without the salary of the player previously known as Carmona coming off the books. All is good.

Gotta believe that the tribe were the mystery team that Heyman is referring to. We will hear about it soon. Good offer just not quite good enough. You knonw those rust belts towns with all the population loss always get beat by the markets on the coast or in the south-oh wait!
