JR and I were talking about the time stamps in the board preferences folder. Earlier today I had changed my post time stamps so I was seeing stamps for California time.

Well after I must have been auto logged out for a bit I came back and found all the times of the last posts displayed in "Tribe Forum" were back on eastern time. At least they were when I clicked on my screen link and this place opened.

Then I went to do the 8:53 test post and realized I had to once more log in in order to post.

When I logged in it was all back on California time.

It's going to be fun learning all the nuances here going forward.

Yes, settings are different for guests than for members. When you first log in, there is an option to login automatically every time. I'm thinking of turning off the guest access for awhile to encourage those who haven't yet registered to do so.

Thanks, that makes sense JR.

There have been a few times I've set "login automatically" but it doesn't seem to stick.

I regularly clear cookies and history on my machines so that might have something to do with it. Not that big of a deal on a PC, but it is a pain on an iPhone.

As I've said before, the only thing I wish I had here was the ability to put a pic, etc. on the main page.
But there are other features that are nicer than WC. And even you can post pics w/o having to refer to a cheat sheet now! :D

Yes, I like the format. I barely touched this place while Worldcrossing was up, so still getting the actions to be innate.

I think it was Bill Cosby who had the comedy routine album from the 60's about his family having a stand up radio with 87 buttons.

But they only used 2. Off and on. (paraphrased)

That's about the way I used this place until yesterday.

I just watched the Michael Jackson, This Is it for free on Encore.

It was worth every penny.

Got to be there. It's a really a song I think of when I wake up with my wife every morning.

Maybe I'll tell her again on our various trips and when we(she) visits the the gym tomorrow.

(she knows!)

btw, if you are trying out the various features of this board, you can do so w/o showing the world your mistakes, as CALI did. Just use the PREVIEW button. If you don't like your results, the edit box is right below. You can preview as often as you like, then hit SUBMIT when you are satisfied.

Also, you can change the way everything looks by going to Board Preferences, and changing the "board style." There are 9 to choose from. It will look different, but all the stuff will be there, just in different places.
